Vess Barnes Comes to the Rescue
Wizard Academy... Engelbrecht House... and THAT Driveway
Last week I spent a magical 6-nights stay at Engelbrecht House on the grounds of Wizard Academy.
The accommodation is romantic, soul refreshing, delightful... queen-size 4 poster beds, original art works, century old gates, giant tapestries, a Downunder bar, views of beautiful Chapel Dulcinea and the Texas foot-hills. But the driveway from the car park to the gates of Engelbrecht House... well... it's a downhill, dirt, dust and gravel slippery slide. But not for much longer.
Thanks to the generosity of Vess Barnes, Engelbrecht house will soon have a driveway befitting it's grandeur. Vess is paying for 200 yards of concrete so when you next stay at Engelbrecht your experience will be complete.
Thanks Vess.
PS. In case you were wondering what Vess Barnes does for a living, he owns Barnes Jewelry, one of America's most important jewelry stores.
